Start with power and fuel, the two most common culprits. Is the house battery actually charged? An RV furnace pulls a surprising amount of 12-volt current, and a weak or cold-sapped battery is a leading reason a furnace won't start or keeps short-cycling. Is the propane on, and is there gas in the tank? Have other propane appliances been working? Also make sure the furnace's return-air and exhaust aren't blocked. These simple checks solve a real share of no-heat calls.
If power and propane are fine and it still won't fire, you're usually into the igniter, sail switch, gas valve, or control board — parts that take testing to pin down safely, since propane is involved.
